| Ceylon Rank Explanations |
| Ceylon prides itself in the tight bonds of the pack. That being said all ranks are to respect one another accordingly. Rank in the Ceylon pack is everything and respect is key. Choose your place wisely, for if you fail to do your job you will be quick to lose it. |
| Auspicia - Supreme Authority |
| Basileus | The ruler of Ceylon, he is known as the emperor. He who holds this rank has supreme power over the entire pack. His word is law and is to be followed to a tee. He makes all of the decisions in the pack and chooses who is fit and who is not. (1) |
| Queen | As the title suggests, this spot is for the mate of the Basileus. Usually a female, this rank holds nearly as much power as the Basileus. If ever the Basileus is ill or can not make decisions for the pack, his Queen is to step forward and rule. (1) |
| Legatus | The roll of the Legatus is to be the Basileus' right hand man. Acting as the second in command should both the Basileus and Queen fall to misfortune. This rank holds half of the power that the Basileus holds. This wolf is the Basileus' adviser and usually his most trusted friend/pack member. Usually deals with male punishments in the pack. (1) |
| Consul | This rank is to be held by a female and may or may not be the mate of the Legatus. This female is usually the most trusted friend of the Queen and is to deal with the female punishments in the pack. Holds as much power as the Legatus. (1) |
| Basileus' Adcrescens | This spot is for the eldest offspring of the Basileus and his Queen. This pup is the heir of the pack and will be raised as such. Should the eldest pup not hold up to the standard he/she will be replaced with the second eldest and so on. (1) |
| Regius Pedia | The royal offspring, this rank is for all of the Basileus' children. These pups, though royal, are not in line to rule the pack as the the Basileus' Adcresencs is. |
| Custos | The personal guards to the Royalty of the pack. Their only job is to protect and defend the wolves ranked as Royalty. They are usually highly skilled wolves who have proven themselves and are trusted. (3) |
| Princeps |
| Dux | In all of the pack the Dux holds the most skill in the most amount of areas. This wolf should be a well rounded fighter, healer and have the stealth of an assassin. This wolf watches over all of the training done in the pack and manages all of the groups. He also serves as the head healer and is in charge of training that group. He is to report to the Basileus on the progress of the different groups in the pack. This rank can be challenged for.(1) |
| Tribunus | This rank is for a wolf who is specialized in being a warrior. Either gender may hold his rank so long as the wolf has proven himself a supreme warrior. The wolf who holds this rank will train the other warriors as well work directly with the Basileus on battle plans. This rank can be challenged for. (1) |
| Aquilifer | This rank is for a wolf who specializes in the art of killing and stealth. The head assassin of the pack, this wolf will be in charge of training all assassins in the pack. Along side the training of assassins this wolf is in charge of training the spies as well. This wolf may also be asked to go on personal assassin missions for the Basileus. This rank can be challenged for. (1) |
| Praefectus | This rank is for a wolf specilzing in being a scout and a hunter. This wolf is to be the most attentive and detail orientated wolf in the pack. Responsible for training all scouts and hunters, he may also be called upon to go on personal scouting missions for the Basileus. This rank can be challenged for. (1) |
| Legio |
| Bellator | The warriors of the pack, the main back bone and the force of the pack. These wolves are expected to be tough as nails and skilled in the art of battle. (Unlimited) |
| Magister | The assassins and the spies of the pack, born with the gift of silence and lethal accuracy. These wolves are not as large or tough as the Bellator and are not put on the front line. Rather they are sent out alone on stealth missions. (Unlimited) |
| Viator | These are the scouts of the pack and are expected to be just as stealthy as the Magister. They are the wolves who keep an eye out for the pack, the ones who notice when something is off or if something is being planned, both inside and outside of the pack. These wolves are never sent into other pack lands, they instead watch from afar; the eyes of the pack. (Unlimited) |
| Medicus | The healers or medics of the pack. These wolves are essential for the survival and well being of the pack. Theses wolves should have a wide range of medical know-how as well as the ability to distinguish between different medical herbs. They help to keep all of the members healthy, dealing with both major and minor injuries. (Unlimited) |
| Venator | The hunters of the pack, these wolves are expected to have the utmost control when killing prey. They provide the daily meals for the pack and are the main components when the entire pack hunts together. (Unlimited) |
| Aoidos | The entertainers of the pack, these wolves each have some special talent whether it be musical or artistic. If ever guests from other packs come to Ceylon lands the Aoidos are expected to perform and entertain them. The Royalty of Ceylon may also call upon them to do different 'entertaining'. The mood makers of the pack really. (Unlimited) |
| Proreta | These wolves are the assistants of the pack. They have no real skill set and often do trivial things for the other pack members. They may work directly with the Royalty of the pack and are expected to serve the pack's guests as well. |
| Evocati | The Evocati are one of the most respected of all wolves. These are the wolves who have served loyally to the pack for a number of years. Usually elderly wolves they have the option to retire and yet do not. These wolves are true heroes who continue to fight for the pack even beyond their retirement. (Unlimited) |
| Indignus |
| Tiro | This rank is for the wolves who have yet to choose an area of specialization. They are usually young wolves of the pack who are still being trained in all the basics. This could also be older wolves who do not fit in any rank, just bodies for the number count.(Unlimited) |
| Vetus | This rank is for the elders of the pack. Wolves who have served honorably and have gone into retirement. Usually these wolves are used to relive the history of the pack. |
| Adcrescens | The youngest wolves of the pack. These youngsters are not yet old enough to hold any real rank in the pack. Once they've reached a year they will be placed in a fitting rank and begin training. |
| Sclavus | This rank is for the slaves and prisoners of the Ceylon pack. These wolves are the scum of the pack and are treated as such. They can be used for anything from sexual acts to chew toys for honored guests of the pack. They have no value to the pack. (Unlimited) |
